The ADRF5046 is a single pole, four-throw (SP4T) silicon switch operating from 100 MHz to 44 GHz.
This switch offers low insertion loss of 2.6 dB at 40 GHz, and high isolation of 37 dB at 40 GHz. The through path and hot switching both have a high power handling capability of 27 dBm.
The ADRF5046 draws a low current of 3 uA on the positive supply of +3.3 V and -110 uA on negative supply of -3.3 V. This switch also provides CMOS/LVTTL logic-compatible control.
The ADRF5046 is pin-compatible with the ADRF5047, the low frequency cutoff version, which operates from 9 kHz to 44 GHz. For ultrawideband surface mount technology (SMT), impedance matching on the RF transmission lines can improve insertion loss and return loss performance.
The ADRF5046 comes in a 3 mm × 3 mm, 20-lead land grid array (LGA) package.
